"I bought this bracelet with the intention of returning it because I just wanted to see with my own eyes what the fuss was all about. Didn't like the box it came in so I knew this was going to be a slam dunk about sending it back. NOT!! To my suprise it was very beautiful. Diamonds are very sparkly and the tanzanites are a good color. Not blue but a pretty violet with a hint of blue. The stones was not the size I expected (I thought they would be larger) but with the number of stones on the bracelet it makes up for the size. I wore it to work and I got rave reviews from all the ladies. So! as you might have guessed, I didn't return it. Now all I need is a semi-mount just as sparkly to put my 3+ ct tanzanite stone into to make it match this lovely bracelet."

"When Nikki featured this bracelet and was bragging about it when it was given to her by JTV on her anniversary, I thought I'd buy it, so I did. I could barely contain my excitement when opening the box. I was terribly disappointed by it's color. I always think of tanzanite as blue, b ut this bracelet is more like a purple than blue. It looked so pale, and just didn't have the sparkle that I expected, so back it went. I suppose when you buy a $3,000 or more tanzanite, you will get the color that you will be hoping for, but not this one unfortunately!"

"This Tanzanite Bracelet is beautiful! I love, love, love it. It matches my Tanzanite ring I had bought from JTV about 3 years ago. The color, the diamonds, and the sparkle is superior. Thank you JTV for making my New Year!"

Fast Facts
| The mineral zoisite was discovered around 1805 in the Austrian area by a Baron for whom it was named. It was usually brown in color, often nearly opaque. |
| The discovery by accident of the tanzanite version, in the late 1960's was a great surprise in Tanzania Africa, where it was first thought to be sapphire crystals. |
| The name Tanzanite was coined by Tiffany who had first and exclusive rights to the pretty blue violet mineral for many years. |
| Wearing a well-cut Tanzanite communicates self-confidence, individuality, and maturity. |
Its brilliant color and its exclusive origin in Tanzania combine to make Tanzanite a unique and highly sought after gemstone. |
|
Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. It has naturally occurring shades of blue, green, yellow, pink, brown and khaki but virtually all gemstone quality crystals are heat treated to produce the highly valued shades of sapphire blue, amethyst and blue violet. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
