"I received mine - and 'IF' it would 'NOT' have been cracked and 'CHIPPED' and half of it 'FOGGY' - it might have been very beautiful. But, my Round Tourmalinated Quartz was cracked & chipped, and HALF of it looks foggy or sort of like shattered glass ... so it's really hard to even see the "black tourmalinated spheres" that shoot through the quartz on one half of the stone, but the other half of the stone is great. I like the 'idea' of this stone because it is very interesting to look at and to research, but not this one. I would send it back but I had surgery and I can not get to the post office, so I guess I am keeping it, but I'll only get to enjoy half of it. Just my luck! ALSO: The same thing happened to the "Cats Eye Rutilated Quartz" I ordered. It too was expensive, to me, but it came with CHIPS out of it and the sides were rough and cracked. It does look pretty neat, if it was in excellent or good condition, but the cracked edges and the chips in it kind of take away the beauty for me. but ... that too I will have to keep, because I can't get to the post office to send them back. Oh well, my 30 days are probably over anyway. So, for me, with these two particular stones I had to rate them poorly. Sorry! But, that is what 'I' received. Maybe everyone else received theirs in great/excellent condition, and if they did - then they should be rating them excellent - because they are truly 'one of a kind' pieces and soooo very interesting to research! Sorry JTV - maybe next time. Disappointed in California."
