    "This bracelet is one of my all time favorite purchases from JTV. I am very pleased. The stones are a gorgeous neutral shade of chocolate brown, that will go with anything. All the stones are evenly colored and have a lot of sparkle. The stones are not overly large, but are spaced close together, giving the bracelet more weight than a bracelet with the same size stones, but spaced farther apart. It is a very expensive looking bracelet at a very affordable price."

    "Just received my bracelet today. Probably one of the last before selling out. As a heads up the color in the photo is way too light. The quartz is a rich brown color that allows the light to play off each spectacular cut gem. What a bummer if you missed out on this beauty."

    "What a beautiful bracelet and a great gift from my boyfriend. A year or so ago I bought a pink topaz bracelet-@ 45 carats set in 14kt rose gold-checkerboard cut-which I love and always gush about every time I wear it (as does everyone else who sees it!). My boyfriend saw this bracelet online and thought I might like it also. Oh boy, do I ever-it is gorgeous. Big checkerboard cut smokey quartz stones that have a nice depth of color and quite a bit of shine and sparkle. I love it."

    One of the most common gem families, quartz can be found all around the world.
    In 1921, it was discovered that quartz can generate an electrical charge.
    Throughout history, quartz was considered to hold the power of communication or divination. Interestingly, quartz was used in the development of modern radio frequencies.
    The Greeks believed quartz was clear ice that over time had hardened into stone.





    Quartz is one of the most common gem families and can be found all around the world. Quartz comprises several different groups of gems from crystalline quartz (crystals viewable by the naked eye) and crypto-crystalline (microscopic crystals). Crystalline quartz includes amethyst, aventurine, rock crystal, blue quartz, citrine, hawk’s eye, prasiolite, quartz cat’s eye, smoky quartz, rose quartz, and tiger’s eye. Crypto-crystalline quartz is also known as chalcedony and includes agate, bloodstone, carnelian, chyrsoprase, jasper, moss agate, onyx and sard.
