Product Description for Min 3.00ct 11x9mm Oval Yellow Labradorite-LYV11902CQThis beautiful natural stone is a variety of plagioclase feldspar, meaning it is a mix of albite and anorthite. Feldspars are complex minerals, and identifying specific gem varieties like andesine, bytownite, and labradorite is very difficult. Working closely with our vendors, we try to clearly identify gemstones and their origins, but this is not always possible. Based on current knowledge, we are calling this gemstone labradorite. It has a durable hardness of 6 to 6.5 on Mohs' scale.

"I was excited about finally receivig my sotne, for the price I would recommend this stone, the only problem is it is a very pale yellow in color (almost clear). I wish it had a more brillant color, but for the price the stone looks clean to the eye, I have't decided to keep it yet, but I might."
