"I purchased this ring over a year ago and have worn it on several occasions. Each time I wear it, I receive many compliments on the unique design and the cool sage green sparkle of the prasiolite. The natural alex is a perfect compliment to the center stone and overall design. I have had no problem with the stability of the setting or the security of the stones. The ring is lovely, sits high on the hand, and is unique in the "east-west" presentation. Hope whoever gets the last one loves this ring as much as I do. It is a keeper at any price!"

beautiful but can't hold stone, December 27, 2007

"My ring arrived with the stone detached. My jeweler said it's simply too large for the tension mount that was used. I love the mounting but can't justify spending so much for a ring with an unstable center stone that wobbles. My jeweler proposes adding two additional prongs, which would detract from the look but add some security (and about $150 in cost). The alexandrite are very pretty, as is the design of the mounting. Just wish it worked better."

"I have sent most everything back that I have ordered because I am very picky. But this ring is not only a keeper it is fabulous. This is a winner from the 14K gold used, as well as a better than usual gram weight of gold. to the beautifully set Alexandrite to the unique design topped off by a gorgeous and well cut prasiolite. The whole ring in one package is just fab."

"Lots of detail in this ring. Gorgeous in every way.Looks beautiful on the hand. Prasiolite is gemmy color. Sits up on the hand, and it's a "hand grabber"."
