    14kt gold filled 20 gauge 1/2 round 1/2 hard wire. Gold filled means that the 14kt gold overlay has been heat and pressure bonded to a brass core. Half hard wire is still flexible and will hold and maintain its shape well. In regards to the gauge size, the higher the size the thinner the wire. This wire measures 9.5 feet and weighs .25 ounces.

    "This wire was perfect for wrapping loose gemstone rough pieces that I added between links in a chain as a bead type insert.
