    min .50ct 7x7mm trillion quantum cut morganite from madagascar. this gemstone was named for j.p. morgan because of his gem and mineral contributions to the american museum of natural history in ny. discovered in the early 1900's, its color ranges from pink to peach. the color can fade if exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period. it is a member of the beryl family ranking 7.5-8 on mohs' scale. it is a durable gem, but can crack internally if banged.

    "Pic is horrible! Morganite just is hard to photograph. It is NOT grey-or included. It is the palest of pink/lavenders..very clean-which is unusual for most stones-The trillion cut really showcases the heart of the stone. I have a rectangle cushion cut also-and prefer the trillion. I actually have a .80ctw-but JTV is sold out -if I were you...BUY THIS!"
