"This ring is terrific! It couples my love of pave with my desire for Tanzanite. The color is actually quite good. But as with natural Tanzanite it depends on the light source. Under great flourescent light it is such a rich dark blue with sparks of purple and red. The less intense the light gets the stones color calms down as well. But most of the time I would call it a great AA Tanzanite, not quite AAA. It fits great and is comfortable. The craftsmanship is also very good, just look at the gallery work inside. Proper pave sized holes to allow the movement of light for clear bella luce stones. So far as the size of the center stone? The 3.6 carats or so of Bella Luce Tanzanite is just right for me. I didn't particularly want a 5-10 carat stone. I feel that would have appeared gaudy and very costume jewelry like. This is about an 8.5 mm round and on its own would garner at least $4k."

"Can't afford the real thing this may be for you." It's the second Bella Luce tanzanite I've purchsased. The stone seemed smaller on the other one than the ctw they noted it as so I went bigger this time. Unfortunately, the way the stone is set it still appears to be smaller than the 5+ ctw described. The setting covers the stone on either side so you lose some of it. The ring does sparkle nicely and the center stone has nice color detail to it. I have received compliments on it but was still just a little dissapointed with the overall size apperance of the center stone."
