"I opened up my package in hopes of finding that pretty green moldavite, but it sure lookes NOTHING LIKE the PICTURE or ON TV! It is SOOOOOO DARK THAT IT'S ALMOST A COLOR OF A BLACK/GREEN GEM STONE. IT'S UGLY! MY LUCK TO GET ONE OF THE AWFUL ONES IN STOCK ( WHICH HAPPENS ON A REGULAR BASIS) TO ME. Still, Mother Nature makes Gem Stones in a vary of shades. Even most all of the Diamonds sold have their own little flaws somewhere. I WILL SET IT! Perfect for Christmas as a Pendant to lay on top of a nice Red Blouse or top. Look good on anything of light color as well. First sight of the darkness had me about in tears. The more I looked at it and thought about it in a setting, the more I thought.... Glad it's that color. So don't feel that all will end up this dark and if it does, picture it in your minds eye, set in a nice setting. Then think about all the super dark green outfits that are sold for Christmas, so hard to match anything up with when you seem to have nothing but the lighter color gems or pendant to wear. VERY NICE BUY FOR THE COST! Who knows, maybe one day the darkest will be worth more then the lighter! Better darker then none at all in your collection!"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this beautiful and exotic gemstone. The color was reminiscent of a deep green tourmaline -- between a pine green and a chrome diopside color, with flashes of sparkle. I'm also initrigued by the gemlore associated with this beautiful gemstone -- thanks, Nicole, for the info, I'm hooked!"
