    "This is pretty just like a total gold omega would be. Love the extender which is another link of the omega again that you just hook together. Not those small chain links. My only concern is the wear of it and will the sterling tarnish and the gold wear off. Have to do some research on that. Other wise, very pretty, nice presence on the neck,and not flimsy."

    "No woman’s jewelry wardrobe is complete without two things–a nice basic strand of pearls and a substantial omega necklace.

    I looked for a long time before I found this gold/silver reversible omega. I figured that 4mm was perfect. I wanted silver rather than white gold, not just because of the price factor, but because I have a strong feeling that gold should be gold.

    This goes back to when I was a child when I asked my mother why she didn’t have a gold wedding ring. She said, “But it is gold–it’s white gold.”

    That discussion cemented in my bones this feeling that gold should be gold. Although I do like rose gold, and I find white gold acceptable in a multicolor gold piece. My preference for silver over white gold only grew in my teens when I fashioned my first silver ring in high school. My love of silver is stronger than ever today because I still love melting the stuff and watching it flow.

    I looked at vermeil omegas as a strong possibility due to their affordability. But vermeil is more delicate when it comes to polishing. Then I found this 14K/Sterling omega. The price was right. But I was concerned that the extender might be one of those wimpy chain ones. No worries there–the extender is a sturdy piece of omega with a lobster clasp at each end. It measures an-inch-and-a-quarter (5.5mm) giving you a choice of two very useful lengths.

    Now, JTV, you need to stock this omega in every mm width! If you do, this will become THE classic omega!"

    "What a fantastic piece! It is pretty, a good weight and smooth as butter on the skin. The reversible feature makes it the perfect piece for everything, the extender is great, the findings small enough to fit many pendants but mostly the price is outstanding for this quality piece. You won't go wrong with this one!"

    "This omega is a little lighter weight than I wanted but it is beautifuly made and looks and feels like a piece of satin ribbon around your neck. I would certainly not return it. Worth the money."
