"Tanzanite is light blue/violet. 8x6mm sizing is accurate. Nice accent setting. Gold band is thin, but acceptable. Note: While roaming with my daughter in the mall just last week, something caught my eye at a jeweler. The "feature" ring was the exact tanzanite semi-mount set with an amethyst center for $550. Of course it caught my attention, kinowing that same was in the mail to me. I stopped to examine and the sales rep - seeing my interest - offered the ring for a "great" reduction of $450! It really does make a beautiful ring - especially set with a darker, contrasting gem. If you've got the gem to fit buy it!"

"The ring isn't too bad for the price but the Tanzanite are so lite that they look like diamons, they have a good sparkle and it does make my 8X6 mm Tanzanite for the center look a little darker."

"As far as simi mounts go, this was not the best deal or quality. The price did not match what I was expecting. There are others listed that are far better deals."
