    "I have been trying to find good quality, affordably priced amethyst without much success. There is alot of lighter amethyst, sometimes called lavender. If you can find good quality amethyst (that is not dyed) the price has gone through the roof.
    I was pleased when I received this strand. I wouldn't call this a chip strand, definitely free-form. The stone size is larger and better polished than most chip strands. The color is just what one expects with good amethyst."
