Color Too Dark,

"The color of the stone in my ring is almost black - blue sparks do show up under light or in sunlight. The setting is substantial enough and the stone is plenty big for me, but I wouldn't recommend the purchase based on the color. I've bought much prettier London Blue Topaz rings from JTV. If I had seen this ring in person, I wouldn't have given it a second glance."

"I was very excited to open my first piece of london blue topaz jewelry. I love the deep, rich color. I'm not so excited about the setting - best I can say is it's very light and you forget it's on your finger. I do really like the trillion cut - it really displays the topaz well. I love the blue sparkle. I am very pleased. I would like to find some london blue earrings in 10 kt. yellow gold. I only found one pair in the catalog."

"This ring was everything I wanted , the size was perfect for daytime. I'm a teacher and I collect gemstone jewelry. My students love to ask what gem I'm wearing. This one is perfect because it is very noticible, yet it is practical. The rich blue color goes perfectly with a lot of my wardrobe. I highly recommend this one."

"I love this ring....my Mother's Day present. The only thing I was a little concerned about were the diamond accents. I could not figure out why there were only two on this three pronged ring. The gem is exquisite, the gold beautiful and born an Air Force Brat in London, this is my Hometown ring. What a beauty and one great deal! thank you :) Happy Mommy"

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
|
