"I originally bought this ring, because I was looking for a setting to use for another stone of mine. However when I seen how brilliant the stone was, I changed my mind. It has to stay just where it is ..is in this ring!"

"It is a pretty little thing. The blue is nice, the diamonds dainty it will be nice for a young (teenage) girl. I doubt that the blue topaz is 2 carats. It looks too small for that. It was such a reasonable price that I will give it as a gift for someone. I won't keep it for myself as it is way too small and too young looking for me."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
|
