"So glad that I did not win this on auction. The setting was the best part of this ring. The sunstone was seriously miscolored and scratched. Most of the white topaz were of poor quality with little brilliance. I took a chance with this ring and followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered more than one. Hopefully the other one will be better quality."

"The first ring I ordered had a very large "dead spot" on most of the surface. I called customer service and got free return mail for that one. Not wanting to take any more chances I ordered 2 more. They were both beautiful with lots of sparkle and schiller, then I had to decide between the two. Be cautious the quality can vary!"

"This is one of my absolutely all time favourite purchases from JTV and believe me - I've purchased alot. About six yrs. ago I was lucky enough to purchase some gorgeous faceted sunstone pieces. They are very clear but the schiller is still visible and of course that is what makes sunstone what it is. I've never set those stones however. While I usually prefer faceted stones, this glorious sparkling cabachon with the beautiful topaz accents has become my very special favourite. It is very unusual and I love it. Thanks JTV."
