"I just received this ring today and WOW! It's a substantial piece! Love the shades of purple! Even though the band is pretty wide, it feels very comfortable on my index finger and looks great! Turquoise is a translucent to opaque gemstone. It exhibits a range of blue and green colors from sky-blue to blue-green to apple-green. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, turquoise is 5-6. Sources include Iran (near Nishapur), Afghanistan, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Israel, Mexico, Tanzania, and the United States.
