"The setting is O.K. The best thing about the ring is the 10.78 ct. prasiolite. The color is the best I've seen. The cut is such that it really sparkles."

"This was purchased for a dear friend's birthday. For Christmas last year, I made her a Prasiolite jewelry set of pendant and earrings set in the sterling silver snap-tite castings (such a cool idea), as she had greatly admired my gorgeous prasiolite ring that I bought when JTV first offered prasiolite. ( the stones came from mixed-faceted parcels, and I was able to match them perfectly!) This ring is so awesome, it simply jumps out of the box at you! It's big & bold and the stone is magnificent--I know she's just going to flip out when she opens it--I can hardly wait! It looks like I spend a fortune instead of under $50.00! Thanks, JTV--you scored a home-run with this one!"

"Even though it's been treated to make it green, I've become a fan of prasiolite. You must know that it is the very lightest of greens. If you're looking for a deep green, this is not the stone for you. It's a beautiful cut! Extra faceting which was not acknowledged on description. For being such a large stone, it's a very comfortable ring. Again, JTV has made me a true fan!"

Don't let my tacky 4th of July manicure distract from the gorgeous stone!

"The color of the stone is the perfect mint green, and the Portuguese cut brings out the color and sparkle in a way I've never seen before. I tried to show the height of the ring in the pictures I took for this review, and the color of the stone is darker than it appears in my pictures. Honestly, this ring is just absolutely beautiful."
