"I ordered this ring for my 30 yr old daughter who wears all the latest styles. She absolutely loves it. I also would love it, it would seem to match all tastes. The aquamarine is perfect and very light reflective. The topaz is dark blue and a great accent. Both stones complement each other. The size is large enough to really stand out but not so big as to be gaudy. Excellent purchase for quality and value. Would love to find a matching ring or earring set!"

"I bought this for my daughter's 20th birthday with the option she could return it and have the money instead. When a poor college student chooses to keep something instead of getting cash, I knew she REALLY liked it! She asked her roommates their opinion, and they all approved. The aquamarine is a lovely clear, very pale blue that is perfectly contrasted by the london blue topaz. I still need to get her a shorter chain (16 inches) since the 18 inch one is too long for a petite size, but the price and quality make this a smart buy."

Lore
Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would insure a safe passage, and often slept with the stones under their pillow to insure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.
