"I ordered this just because I wanted to see what it looked like. Of course, I fell in love with it as soon as I opened the box. Tourmalinated quartz is a very unique stone that can't be found in jewelry stores, and it's just exquisite. I ordered myself another one of these because I've decided to put one in a pendant, and frame the other one (I'm a Certified Gemologist and I'm just weird like that...). I've found the perfect setting for the pendant, and am waiting for the other stone to come in so I can decided which will be on the wall, and which will be in my pendant. The black tourmaline that runs through the stone is very interesting and creates a great conversational piece. The size is perfect, almost an inch in length, and I love it. While each stone will be unique, the picture above gives you a very good idea of what your stone will look like. I was afraid, before I opened the box, that there wouldn't be much black tourmaline running throughout the quartz, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was just enough black tourmaline to make the pendant beautiful."
