"This necklace is nice, but I was a little disappointed on the size of the pearls, they were on the smaller size, 7.5 - 8 mm. Also the pearls had a lot of flaws. I was expecting some flaws, but not so many major ones. The clasp on the necklace is small and since I have long nails, it is very difficult to put on. I wish the clasp was larger.
All-in-All, this is still a nice necklace...."

"When I received the necklace, it was all tangled up and the chain had broken off at one of the hoops. After untangling the chain for an hour and fixing the necklace, I noticed that the pearls had obvious imperfections (at least 2-3 dents per pearl). Overall the idea of the necklace is nice and it wears well. Ok value. Poor quality and poor presentation/packaging. Not my best JTV purchase."

A pearl is a lustrous, organic gem produced by saltwater oysters, freshwater mussels and occasionally by some shellfish. It exhibits a range of colors from white to pink, silver, cream, peach, gold, green, blue and black. Oh Mohs’ scale of hardness, pearl is 2.5 – 4.5. Primary sources of Sea Pearls include Persian Gulf; Gulf of Manaar; along the coasts of Madagascar, Burma (Myanmar), and the Philippines; many islands in the South Pacific, northern Australia; and the coastal lines of Central and northern South America; and some small beds in Japan. Primary sources of freshwater Pearls include United States, some in Europe (restricted in Central Europe).
