"I did not care for this ring. The stones were much lighter and more purple in hue than the picture. The major problem with the ring was the workmanship. There were several stones that were not straight in their mounts causing the ring to look lopsided. I am sending it back."

"I was very pleased to see such a beautiful ring for the price, I did see one small stone that was off color just a little, but thats hardly noticeable. For the most part I felt I got a heck of deal and WOW how huge a presentation this ring reflects. Go for it Ladies and Gentleman, you can not go wrong, and this was not my first purchase with JTV, I have never felt I could get a better deal anywhere else. Thank You"

Fast Facts
Iolite is a clean, beautiful stone that is still very affordable.
It can be found in blue to purple to light gray colors.
The Vikings used iolite as a light polarizer, using it to see through the haze and determine the exact location of the sun on overcast days.
With a very strong pleochroism, iolite changes colors when viewed from different angles.
Iolite is found in Myanmar (previously called Burma), Brazil, India, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, and the United States.
