"I work at a big name jewelry store, which I will not name, and I would rather buy my jewelery from JTV.com! They have the best value. The blue diamonds were of great quality, and the white diamonds were of fair quality--but they still pop against the blue. I bought two to act as stackers for my white diamond band with the same mounting. The two bands have different color blue diamonds--but the diamonds within each band are matched to each other. First I must say, this is an awesome deal, no matter what work has to be done. The stones were loose in both bands, but for a jeweler to tighten the prongs in each one is only $20. And yes, as many reviewers have said, the band is thin on the backside, but it is what is typical of this style mounting, and typical for the overall size of the ring. So after having the prongs tightened, the total cost of the ring came to $99.99 + S.H. That's a great deal considering I saw this very ring in a jewelry store the other day, retailing at $699 on sale for $499! Thanks JTV for delivering great jewelry at great prices!"

"This ring is very dainty. Good for an accent with a band. Not big enough to stand alone, because .25 stones are very small when you you have them broken down into 7 stones. Stacking with others would be very nice. The stones are pretty clear. But considering the price; it's a nice deal. I wanted to try blue diamonds. I will keep this as my first."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
