"I just received these earrings a few days ago to go with the pendant I won on auction. The quality is great and the stones are so pretty. The garnets around the white topaz almost look like rubys. They will go real nice with a white or red outfit. I wish there was a matching ring also. I love the big and bold look of this set, but not to big."

"Very pretty and show up very nicely. Large enough to get noticed! The cut of the topaz is beautiful and unique. The red garnets are a beautiful color. (my birthstone) My only suggestion would be to use the larger plastic backs instead of the smaller butterfly backs as the earring does tend to fall forward a little because of the size. I purchased the matching pendant on auction and am still waiting for it to come in so I can wear them as a set. Boy, I'll look like a million dollars with the whole set on! Thanks JTV!"

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
|
