    "The Stones were very pretty, very "golden" in color. Clean stones and no visible flaws. Very nice parcel for a low price. Size of stones large enough for rings or pendant. I am very happy with these stones. The parcel is as nice looking if not better than the picture on JTV."

    "This is my first purchase from Jtv. Placed order on the Friday evening and received on Thursday afternoon(Monday was a holiday). Overall is great value. Love the sparkles. If there is a round cut would make is perfect. The picture is shot under the regular day light inside the house."

    Due to its bright earth tones, Citrine is a popular stone for jewelry designers.
    Gloria Swanson and other great old film stars of Hollywood brought citrine to the public awareness in the late 30???s. She wore her own flamboyant citrine jewelry in her films. At that time, it was so unavailable to the general population, that it cost a fortune. Today we can have the same beautiful stones very affordably.
    Citrine enjoys a reputation for being usually clean--naturally not included.




    Citrine is a quartz crystal. While its name refers to a lemon yellow color, citrine can be found in a range of yellows from light yellow to dark yellow and golden brown. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, citrine is 7. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Argentina, Burma (Myanmar), Namibia, Russia, Scotland and Spain.
