    "If you are making a bracelet, this would be an OK purchase for the price. The gems don't have the best cutting, and some were included. I would prefer to pay the same price and get one better quality stone, but for the quantity, it's not a bad value if you aren't picky."

    "These are beautiful in color and are all clear and shiny. For projects, time was spent to find uniform, matched stones (depth). The gem product is a good purchase. My disappointment (and maybe this is not the right venue to state it) was delivery time. For over one year, JTV shipments arrive within a week. This took over two weeks. YOUZA. I thought the package was lost. IF ordering for holidays (and this order was placed BEFORE Thanksgiving), plan LOTS of wiggle room in your schedule for the delivery or you may be tardy with gifts or crafts!"

    Gloria Swanson and other great old film stars of Hollywood brought citrine to the public awareness in the late 30???s. She wore her own flamboyant citrine jewelry in her films. At that time, it was so unavailable to the general population, that it cost a fortune. Today we can have the same beautiful stones very affordably.
    Citrine enjoys a reputation for being usually clean--naturally not included.




    Citrine is a quartz crystal. While its name refers to a lemon yellow color, citrine can be found in a range of yellows from light yellow to dark yellow and golden brown. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, citrine is 7. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Argentina, Burma (Myanmar), Namibia, Russia, Scotland and Spain.
