    "What a nice piece. I was impressed with the size and the fact that is an enhancer. The Citrine is very clean and sparkly with good color. The one I received did not have any black oxidation. It was just the silver. But I still like it very much and will keep it, of course. I bought it to go with a yellow and black dress I just purchased and it goes perfectly! I need some earrings to match, JTV. :o)"

    Gloria Swanson and other great old film stars of Hollywood brought citrine to the public awareness in the late 30???s. She wore her own flamboyant citrine jewelry in her films.     Citrine enjoys a reputation for being usually clean--naturally not included.




    Citrine is a quartz crystal. While its name refers to a lemon yellow color, citrine can be found in a range of yellows from light yellow to dark yellow and golden brown. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, citrine is 7. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Argentina, Burma (Myanmar), Namibia, Russia, Scotland and Spain.
