"I WAS VERY EXCITED WHEN I RECEIVED MY NEW RING! THE QUALITY OF THE TANZANITE AND THE DIAMONDS IS EXCELLENT! THE TANZANITE IS AT LEAST A "AAA" IN COLOR AND SATURATION AND THE DIAMONDS ON THE SIDES (16 TOTAL) NOT INCLUDING THE SMALLER DIAMONDS BELOW THEM, ARE QUITE LARGE AND OF EYE CLEAN QUALITY. THIS RING IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE! I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE THAT I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT MORE THAN ONE! THANKS JTV! THIS WAS A HIGH QUALITY RING FOR THE PRICE!"

"I ordered this on line and not from a television preview. The center stone (oval tanzanite) looked larger in the picture than the ring I received. Also, the photo suggested the center of the band to be elevated above two narrower outer bands to create narrow openings on each side of the center band. Not the case. So - both the center stone and the band design were dissapointments to me. I returned the ring immediately."

"This design is stunning. I like the substantial weight of the ring and its multi-level design. The diamonds just sparkle. The clarity and depth of color in the tanzanite is beautiful. I have received many compliments on this piece, and people are speechless when I tell them where I purchased it. I am extremely pleased with my selection."

Fast Facts
| The mineral zoisite was discovered around 1805 in the Austrian area by a Baron for whom it was named. It was usually brown in color, often nearly opaque. |
| The discovery by accident of the tanzanite version, in the late 1960's was a great surprise in Tanzania Africa, where it was first thought to be sapphire crystals. |
| The name Tanzanite was coined by Tiffany who had first and exclusive rights to the pretty blue violet mineral for many years. |
| Wearing a well-cut Tanzanite communicates self-confidence, individuality, and maturity. |
Its brilliant color and its exclusive origin in Tanzania combine to make Tanzanite a unique and highly sought after gemstone. |
|
Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. It has naturally occurring shades of blue, green, yellow, pink, brown and khaki but virtually all gemstone quality crystals are heat treated to produce the highly valued shades of sapphire blue, amethyst and blue violet. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
