    min .20ct 5x4mm emerald cut brazilian emerald. the name "emerald" comes from the greek "smaragdos" for "green stone." except the rare few, they have inclusions that are generally accepted as well as the treatments, which are normally listed and should not be a deterrent to purchasing. it has a hardness of 7.5-8 on the mohs scale, and should only be cleaned in ionic cleaners or warm soapy water and a soft brush. do not use ultra sonic and steam cleaners. this stone is frome the petera mine.

    "THE ONLY REASON I PURCHASED THIS EMERALD IS BECAUSE OF SIR RICHARD'S REVIEW! I WANTED ANOTHER EMERALD FOR MY COLLECTION AND IT WAS THAT REVIEW ALONE THAT CONVINCED ME TO ORDER THIS STONE. IT IS THE GREENEST EMERALD GREEN AND EYE CLEAN. JUST LOOKING AT IT, IT LOOKS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS! IT IS THE MOST PERFECT EMERALD I HAVE IN MY COLLECTION TO DATE.     "Emeralds are my favorite gemstone. I had the idea to do something special and unique with a small emerald. This was my first purchase from JTV and I didn't even know that this web-site was here. I called and spoke with a very nice lady, told her what I wanted and she sent me the clearest, most colorful emerald that I've ever seen. Tonight, I was browsing thru emeralds and reconized the size and price. When I checked item numbers, I realized it WAS my emerald. I'm really glad I never saw this picture...mine is so much nicer. 5 stars? No problem."
