    "I actually had no problems setting these. I used two 10 x 8 African Amethyst and they set the first around. But in the past I sometimes had stones where the pavillion was too steep in the back and although the calibration was correct with the crown, the stone was to tall for this style of casting. JTV sometimes make the castings with the hole in the back which is better suited for stones with deep pavillions or the stone will keep popping out of the casting. I've also taken a pair of tweezers and bent the absolute top of the prong down some to make sure it catches. Maybe this will help someone."

    "Once again the stones didn't fit. My husband and I spent a very long time trying to get a stone into the casting. On snapped in easily but the other....forget it. We both got very frustrated. As I said before, you need better quality control. I will not be ordering any more castings."
