    "These are the only castings that I have purchased that I have not been happy with. The prongs are too long, so the earings stand out to far from your earlobe. Because of this, they have a tendency to drag downward. I have made a number of wonderful purchases from JTV and have been very happy with their products, but this one is simply a miss. Pass this one by..."

    "I bought Black Spinal gemstones to make stud earrings for my husband for X-Mas and since I needed a higher mm. size, I went for these castings. I guess you can say I'm not to happy with the final product. These castings sit VERY HIGH off of the ear and they have to many prongs which take away from the stud look I was going for. Sadly they don't look right on my husband nor do they look right on my ears so in the end, these castings were a total waste!!! I do plan on buying another pair of 8mm castings but before I set the stones into them, I'm going to make sure that they sit lower on the ear. I couldn't do that with these seeing how these were part of a X-Mas gift but trust me, I WILL make sure on the new castings!! Just beware of how high these castings sit. If you don't mind having an earring POPPING out of your earlope (sp?) ... then these castings will work for you. Peace.."
