"The citrine was lovely...very sparkly and a great color. I hated the mounting, though. Looking down on the ring all you an see is the citrine and 2 flat gold rectangles....you don't see the diamonds at all. It looks very masculine. I didn't care for it."

"Love, love, love this ring! Found and bought this online and it looks EXACTLY like it did online! Bought one for myself and loved it soooooooooo much I have purchased a 2nd ring for my dear sister. It is a large bold statement ring - so it is not for the faint of heart - a real DESIGNER piece! Going to wear it to Las Vegas this week and look like a big spender. Highly recommend this ring to anyone looking for some class. ENJOY!"

"ordered this after viewing on TV and the ring looked so different from what I received and the stone is much paler. The setting is too heavy and therefore not flattering. I had it sized and cannot return although the stone is loose and one diamond is missing. So be careful ladies if you resize! The design on net is close to reality and I regret not having gone to the net before ordering."

Gloria Swanson and other great old film stars of Hollywood brought citrine to the public awareness in the late 30???s. She wore her own flamboyant citrine jewelry in her films. At that time, it was so unavailable to the general population, that it cost a fortune. Today we can have the same beautiful stones very affordably.
Citrine enjoys a reputation for being usually clean--naturally not included.




Citrine is a quartz crystal. While its name refers to a lemon yellow color, citrine can be found in a range of yellows from light yellow to dark yellow and golden brown. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, citrine is 7. Sources include Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Argentina, Burma (Myanmar), Namibia, Russia, Scotland and Spain.
