    "Once you have this sapphire in your hands... you will fall in love. I have the earrings to match and in reading the other reviews.. there is a ring? I love my set. Even though the diamond accents are not the best they are better than some of the others I have recieved. I love the orange color. Red would be nice but it would be too ordinary after seeing this color. I wanted something that would pop in color and this will do that."

    "Gorgeous stone and pendant! However, it is on the orange side. The other lab created Padparadscha that I purchased was much more reddish in color. My wife doesn't care for the orange stone, so unfortunately I am returning it. But it is stunning! I wish it was more red in color."

    "This pendant, along with the matching ring that I purchased, definitely stands out. It commands attention without being totally out there. I love it. I'm just hoping that the matching earrings are around...I'd love to have the whole set. I would definitely recommend this...and if you don't already have it, and it's still available, consider the ring as well...which is also beautiful. Great cut for the stone...I love it...and the diamonds are outstanding for the price. Altogether a winner."

    As a hard 9 on Mohs' scale, sapphire is ideal for all types of jewelry. They are found in every color, and all colors other than blue are considered fancy.

    The most desired and expensive of fancy sapphires is the Padparadscha sapphire. The term "Padparadscha" comes from the Sanskrit/Singhalese words "padma" meaning "lotus" and "raga" meaning "color," because its pinkish-orange color is similar to that of the lotus flower. The name sapphire may derive from the Greek Sanskrit sanipriya, meaning ???dear to the planet Saturn.???

    Some are found in Africa, but true Padparadscha sapphires are from Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
