"Five very nice sparkling stones--color blue-white, minimal carbon spots and feathers, not visible without a loupe, stones well matched. All in all a nice nice ring with a lot of presence. I don't understand why this ring wouldn't be sizeable so I'll bring it to a jeweler and ask as 7 is a little snug for me some days. I think it would look fabulous with a nice big solitaire, i.e. .75 carat or higher, or any rings you want to stack. I'm glad I got a good one but the mixed reviews for this ring (sort of hit or miss) give a very good reason to get a loupe and take a look at ALL your new jewels carefully."

"When I received this I took it to our registered gemoligist in Wichita KS. I was very unhappy to receive a $750 appraisal. He basically made fun of it saying that it was heavily included with the naked eye. It was to late to send it back because he took so long to get to it. I'm sure I just got one of the lemons. I am usually thrilled with my purchase from JTV."

"Typical hit-and-miss with JTV. Nothing like what earlier reviewers said, what I got were diamonds full of inclusions, as in I3++: three stones had several obvious big dark dandies in them; 2 were just loaded with too-many-to-count inclusions, like commercial grade junk (been reading Matlins book on diamonds which I got off JTV). There was some sparkle, but absolutely no fire; the cuts were erratic as well...all different size tables. The worst part: most of the reviewers said theirs were glorious with almost no flaws! Why do I get the biggest dud? Also, note that this ring is NOT SIZABLE, something which was not stated by TV hosts!! I found this out only after going to the online site to see if the ring was still available. So, since it's not sizable, and size 7 is too small for me, I am returning it without trying to get what the other earlier reviewers got...glad it worked out for you folks."

"I was sooo excited to receive this ring after such great reviews. So why was the ring I received closer to faceted ground glass than to lovely clear diamonds? I had my jeweler appraise this and he said $650 was fair for these commercial grade diamonds. I sent it back and ordered a second ring, hopefuly this is a quality control issue and the next ring will be better."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
