"I received this ring and only had a 25 75 split. The color saturation was ok but not as it was on the Tv or on the website. I sent it back for an exchange. I was hoping for in the least a 60 40 split with a dark saturation because it is a 18x 13 stone and that is what is represented on the site and on tv. Although the rings on tv were much darker color saturation than what was represented on the site. I will report back if my exchange comes out better."

"We received a beautiful ring with not only a good citrine/ametrine split, but also an extra band of purple at the top.
The colors are a bit pale, but the emerald cut makes this a very impressive item. Third review submitted."

"This ring is fabulous, I am so pleased, it is an exact 50/50 split, which is really hard to find. Gorgeous stone. Just beautfiful all around, A bit more expensive than most ametrine's, but the stone is very large, and the 50/50 split is well worth the value. I have 4 other ametrine rings, with diamonds, etc. they are beautful and the split in them is also very nice, but this large stone is absolutely exquisite, I hope everyone is as lucky as I was when they receive their ring. With the mines closed???, this really is an investment as well as being a beautiful piece of jewelry."

Ametrine, a bi-color quartz, is made of amethyst and citrine in the same stone and combines both stones in its name.
One of the most common gem families, quartz can be found all around the world.
In 1921, quartz it was discovered that quartz can generate an electrical charge.
Throughout history, quartz was considered to hold the power of communication or divination. Interestingly, quartz was used in the development of modern radio frequencies.
The Greeks believed quartz was clear ice that over time had hardened into stone.




Ametrine is a quartz crystal that contains amethyst and citrine. It is a bi-color gemstone including the violet of amethyst and the yellow of citrine. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, ametrine is 7. It is primarily found in Bolivia.
