    "This iolite pendant resembles more of an AA grade Tanzanite. I’ve had a few iolite rings and each of them are deeply saturated in dark purple color so needless to say, this pendant does not match any of them. This is a nice pendant and is just the right size to get noticed around the neckline. I choose to wear mine on an omega. I have yet to decide if I will keep this since the iolite is so light in this heavily clad silver pendant. I love the back design of the pendant. It has a sculpted gallery that is almost prettier than the main presentation of iolite."

    "The stones are dull looking, though I do like iolite. The enhancer is too lose, so it won't stay hooked...I am afraid the pendant will fall off when I wear it. I would say I could recommend it if it is made properly, but I don't know if they are all loose or not. This makes me a little nervous, and due to the way it is made, I don't know that it can be fixed to be more secure and still remain an enhancer. The pendant is a nice size, and I hope the stones will look brighter in sunlight. I do like the circle effect."

    Iolite

    Iolite is a gemstone with a slight variability in chemical composition between stones. It exhibits a blue-to-violet range of colors and sometimes shows a brownish streak. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, iolite is 7-7.5. It has a greasy luster and primary sources include Burma (Myanmar), Brazil, India, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and the United States.
