I loved this item so much and I had received so many complements on this lovely gem that I had to buy another one as my 19 year old daughter took it over after seeing how lovely the gemstones brought out the yellow under tones in our skin tone. So this time around I have to give this pendant a 10+ as I'm sure I'll have to buy more once the rest of my family gets the chance to see how well this stone brings out the richness of our brown skin. "I purchased this slide honestly for the slide itself, naturally the slide appeared larger on television so I wasn't expecting anything too big, however, I was expecting to get that beautiful orange/yellow coloring and sparkle, and let me tell you I did. Personally I didn't care for the very fragile necklace that the pendant comes with due to the fact that I layer my jewelery and I knew the chain would brake easily, so I put it on an 18" box chain and it looks smashing against my brown skin and it flows very nicely with my other necklaces that adorn my neck. If you are looking for a piece of jewelery that will add just that hint of brightness and coloring and that would flatter your neck and face this is the piece for you, that I would highly recommend (especially) if you like to layer your jewelry!!!! I am now looking for a pair of earrings, and a ring that would complete my look for those days when I want to tone down my "bling appeal" - lol. As always the arrival time was fabulous, the look is very fem and the price was great. Thank you JTV for introducing me such exquisite gems that I never knew existed before. I am so hooked and I look forward to continuing purchasing from you. And as a side note I love going to the "jewelery stores" and asking them about spessartite and labradorite and the people there have no idea what it is that I'm talking about and then I show them my beautiful jewelry from you. "I read the other reviews before purchase, and bought anyway beacue it is going to be used in the production of earrings as just the tip. I thought there was nothing in the box but the chain until I took a 'MUCH' closer look! They are sparkly and will do what I wanted, but don't buy this a a pendant for anyone older than 3 or 4!"
