"The first time I tried to purchase this ring, it was sold out. But I checked a few days later and must have received a ring that someone else returned. Let me say that for $249, one carat of blue diamonds is a really good deal. Yes, there are tiny inclusions in the diamonds, but so small you need a loupe to see them. (Now who looks at your jewelry through a loupe?) The design of this ring is really nice, and the diamonds are a gorgeous color with nice luster and fire, and very well set. I'm glad I had a chance to buy it."

"I just picked up my ring from the post office, stood in line for 30 min with the anticipation of getting the package home and open. What a beautiful sight to behold when I opened the package. The blue diamonds are outstanding, and the bead work all around the stones is a work of art. The ring is antique looking and fits on the finger like a dream. I have another blue diamond cluster ring that will compliment this one perfectly. I have so many favorite rings in my collection, but this one is at the head of the list. I may never take it off my finger. This ring really makes a statement and I can't wait to go to work and show it off. I have a feeling that this ring will influence others to start ordering from JTV. I can't say enough about the quality, service and unusual designs of the jewelry that JTV offers. The price on this ring is also fantastic. Where else could I get a one caret blue diamond ring that looks like it's been in my family for generations. Way to go JTV. Thank you."

"I ordered 2 of these rings, hoping that one would be great. Both rings had a great setting, were comfortable on the finger and the stones looked ok until I took a close look at them. The diamonds in both rings were chipped, and scratched. Sorry but a chipped stone is of no value even if it is a blue diamomd. I have another blue diamond ring from jtv that has wonderful stones in it. Too bad this time because I did like the setting on this ring."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
