"I own a designer garnet ring that I haven't been successful in finding matching earring too. These earrings are a great match to my ring. The stone is an actual dark red garnet color, unlike the brown color that is shown in the picture. The only complaint that I have is the omega clasp and the post. The post is a little bit on the skinny side considering the substantial weight of the silver earrings. Also, the omega clasp opens and closes a bit too easily. I have plenty of other omega back earring and none of them snap that easily. Considering the poor craftsmanship of the omega back clasp I wouldn’t complain about it if it was priced around $40. However, I am keeping these earrings because of the unusual combination of “tarnished” silver and gold."
