As soon as our jewelry arrives, the AH "baptises" it by rinsing off the dust, and then gently patting dry with a soft cloth. We've found that many pieces need to be revived this way, understandable after the long journey. This process was especially rewarding with these earrings, as the golden sparkle really picked up. The gold outter-lining helps them to look antique. The gold dust on the stone makes them wearable for work during the day or diner out at night. They are a bit heavier then I thought they would be, but they are comfortable on the ear. I like them and I have gotten several compliments on them after wearing them twice to work and to the market. They also compliment the sunstone ring that I have had for a few years and never wore. Together they look stunning and expensive."
