"stones are lovely color - ring is a little smaller than i would have liked- it would be a nice pinky ring but the ring sizes aren't small enough - overall i certainly would buy this again - try it you'll like it"

In 1967, British geologist Campbell Bridges was prospecting in northeastern Tanzania when he discovered green grossularite (a member of the garnet family). Today we call these beautiful and highly transparent green gems tsavorite.
Tsavorites are characterized by a range of brilliant greens from spring-like pale green to intense blue green to deep forest green.




Tsavorite is a gemstone within the Garnet family.
It exhibits a green to emerald green color. On Mohs
scale of hardness, tsavorite is 7-7.5. It has a vitreous
luster and sources include Kenya and Tanzania.
