Product Description for Min 2.00ct 10x10mm Trillion Morganite-37T1001AQMorganite was named after J.P. Morgan in honor of his gem and mineral contributions to the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Discovered in the early 1900s, morganite ranges in color from pink to peach and can fade if exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period of time. Generally larger stones are the darkest, so they are preferred. Morganite is a durable gem, ranking 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs' scale, but it can crack internally if treated roughly.

"This was so gorgeous when I got it, that I ordered a second one. Both weighed significantly more than 2.o cts, 1 weighed 3.0 cts, and the other weighed 3.5 cts. Beautiful color, great cut, and at half price! That's a win, win, win for me!"
