Product Description for Min 2.00ct 10x10mm Trillion Morganite-37T1001AQ

Morganite was named after J.P. Morgan in honor of his gem and mineral contributions to the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Discovered in the early 1900s, morganite ranges in color from pink to peach and can fade if exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period of time. Generally larger stones are the darkest, so they are preferred. Morganite is a durable gem, ranking 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs' scale, but it can crack internally if treated roughly.

"no other word will do when describing this stone. cut clarity and luster are no less than perfect. the color is i suppose a little one the light side but you can hardly tell because of the excellent cut. it amplifies the color that is there times ten."
