Product Description for Min 9.50ct 18x13mm Oval Morganite-36V18133AQ

Morganite was named after J.P. Morgan in honor of his gem and mineral contributions to the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Discovered in the early 1900s, morganite ranges in color from pink to peach and can fade if exposed to sunlight for a prolonged period of time. Generally larger stones are the darkest, so they are preferred. Morganite is a durable gem, ranking 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs' scale, but it can crack internally if treated roughly.

"What sparkle and color! I've been watching Morganite for quite awhile and just couldn't pass this bargain up. Flawless and beautiful peachy tones. I haven't decided if I'm going to make jewelry or keep it as is..."

"You won't believe it until you get this home. I have bought several of the Madacascar Morganites and I am still finding myself staring at the gemstones when I pull them out!! The price is way below what you would pay-if you can even find Morgainte in this carat weight or color! Try it...you will be glad you did."
