"When the package arrived, I could not not get it opened fast enough. When I opened the JTV box that the ring was sitting in all I could say was WOW!! It is BEAUTIFUL AND DAINTY!! The stone is large and everyone who sees it has the same reaction, WOW!! I love the lovely design on the sides. My husband was worried that it cost a fortune but when I told him the price, he was relieved and seemed to think the ring was even more beautiful. I love it!!"

"I've been a fan of mystic topaz for a long time. This ring is a fantastic buy. The stone is large enough to be eye catching, but not large enough to be gaudy. I've priced similar rings that cost 3 times as much as this one. This is by far one of the best purchases I've made in a long time."

A disappointment,

"I've wanted a mystic topaz for some time and couldn't wait for this ring to arrive. I thought I'd be so happy when I opened the box, but the stone just did not sparkle like I had expected it would. It looked slightly cloudy to me, even in the sunlight! I also noticed that the stone was crooked in the setting (I could really see it was crooked when I looked at it through a loupe!). I kept trying to convince myself that I liked the ring (how silly is that!) - then I finally sent it back. It's the first time I've ever had to return anything to JTV. What a disappointment!"

"I like this ring because of it's stone size and color reflections when it's in light. It's a bigger ring which is okay with me and it sounds silly but I like the way the color in the stone picks up the color of my nail polish. I find the mystic topaz very interesting to watch as the colors "walk" across the stone."

Fast Facts
| The origin of the name could be from the ancient Topasos Islands near Greece. |
| Topaz can be very costly and rare when they occur naturally in unusual colors. All colors have been a popular choice for jewelry since European royalty started collecting gemstones. |
| Europeans preferred colorless Topaz as a substitute for diamond when those stones were unavailable. The reason was because it was often available in excellent clarity rough and took a beautiful high polish. |
Topaz is the birthstone of December. |
|
