We were some what disappointed when we first saw that it was just a slice and not a geode type specimen as pictured. The Fluorite is a very nice green, ranging from dark around the center and fading to pale green at the edges. When held up to the light the banding of the flourite is unique, looks kind of like the rings of a tree, as my wife says " ah neat". The numbered certificate and the history of the Dragon's Egg is printed on thin cardboard material for sturdiness. The gift box is very nice and on the lid is a dragon decoration, when opened there is a thin red ribbon attached on one side to the lid and base of the box. The Dragon's Egg slice is wrapped in tissue paper and laid on top of a thick silk wrapped piece of foam padding with an even thicker piece of sponge foam on top, so it is very well protected. The stand is gold toned, sturdy and well made. Even though its not as pictured, it is still a very nice specimen and my wife and I do recommend getting one to add to your specimen collection.
