"These earrings are very pretty, and an excellent value for the price. The gemstones are clean, well matched and a medium blue in color. They are not the deep intense blue found in AAA tanzanite, but then I didn't expect them to be. The web picture depicts the color well. I like the movement of the earrings, and the size is just right. I've been looking for tanzanite earrings large enough to be noticed, but not so large that I would feel uncomfortable wearing them to the office. These will easily be dressed up or down. They're much more fun than plain studs, and their movement really makes the tanzanite sparkle. Thanks JTV for another great product!"

"Pretty good color in the daylight. They are dark blue with a hint of purple. I was impressed. Just wish they were in white gold. I suppose then the color would look paler. I'm keeping them, cause I see the color of tanzanite at the jewlers and nothin comes close to these."

"These are pretty nice size stones for the money. The color is also well represented on the website. You might even think they're slightly larger than you expected if not at least exactly what you expect as far as size. They're just the right size, where you can appreciate the stones in their pretty periwinkle blue yet they can still be considered petite. *The Real HIGHLIGHT on these has got to be THE MOVEMENT. OH! I'm Really Lovin' the movement on these! They just dangle freely all over the place with the slightest of movement. They're really flirty but discreet all at the same time. They're definitely a great buy!"

Tanzanite is a variety of zoisite. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, tanzanite is 6.5-7. The prime source of all the world’s tanzanite is in Tanzania near Arusha.
