"What a surprise. The garnets are a deep vibrant raspberry color and the topazes sparkle too. I think that unfortunately we do not all get to see the same quality in our purchases. Sometimes it seems to be hit or miss. I hit on this one. What a trememdous value for the buck. It looks much more expensive than it was. I would recommend anyone try this if they have a love affair with Rhodolite Garnets."

On Mohs’ scale of hardness, rhodolite is 7-7.5. It has a vitreous luster and primary sources include Burma (Myanmar), China, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Tanzania, and the United States.
