"This ring is not as it seems in the picture. The band seems dull and rather light in weight. The gem was not a deep, rich color. If the price were in the $299-350 range than this ring would be worth its value. Sent it back."

"The tanzanite is very beautiful. The band is not very substantial. It is VERY thin. The internet picture looks thicker so I was dissappointed in the band but I will just remove the stone and put it in a better semi mount."

"The ring was much nicer looking on TV. I brought this to our appraiser and was told the diamonds are "frosty" poor quality. The Tanzanite is ok..it is pale. The casting for the ring is very poor quality and craftsmanship. It is going to be sent back."

No flashes of color., October 7, 2007

"The color of the tanzanite stone didn't have any other flashes of color thru-out the stone. The tananite was blue but had just white thru-out the stone. I was expecting to see flashes of reddish purple & there wasn't any in the tanzanite stone.
I compared the tanzanite ring to other tanzanite rings from JTV & this one didn't have the same quality as the others did. If you like just a blue colored stone, like sapphire, you will like this ring.
I like my tanzanite to have other colors flashing thru-out the stone & this one didn't have that quality. I sent it back the same day."
