Not what I was looking for, June 4, 2008

"The ring definetly sits very high. Typically, I like prominent jewlery. But, in this case the size of the stone doesn't match the setting and looks awkward. Also, the color is nothing like the picture. It was much more of a light purple than a blue. I sent this ring back and will try again with JTV with another more expensive tanzanite. It did cost me $11.00 to ship the ring back insured."

"Diamonds are not really my thing, however, they do add a bit of bling, bling to this ring. I wanted a bit over one ct on my tanzanite ring. It's not as blue as shown in the photo. Looks much bluer outdoors in the sunlight than indoors under regular artificial light. And of course it has purple and red flashes like tanzanite should. This was purchased before the sale took place - but I've been able to wear this on special occasions. I really don't wear tanzanite stones for everyday because I'm afraid they won't hold up like some of the other stones that are much harder."

"lovely ring, but sits too high. It's definately not an every day ring. I had to sent it back. Color of the center stone was lighter than the picture."

"I loved this setting so much. I wanted to keep this ring very badly. I just couldn't because the diamonds were either chipped or cracked and the setting wasn't made the same on both sides. The Tanzy was just OK...If everything else had been OK I would have kept it. I love the setting and was told they only had one other in stock or I would have tried again. Such a disappointment"
