"This set is really a surprise for me. I think that this is my second Bella Luce purchase. I don't think anyone would mistake this for being real, because of the size. However...they look so good a smaller size would look real. I am quite happy with my purchase."

"The aquamarine stone was very pretty and the shape of the ring was what I wanted but the metal work was not the quality I'm used to with JTV merchandise. It looked cheaply done. Also, I couldn't return it because of the size - something I didn't understand before ordering it. I don't order anything I can't return because you need to see the workmanship up close - as with this ring."

"This is a very poor ring. The aqua is clear with not even a hint of blue at all. The setting of the ring looks cheap. So disappointed with this ring. I have loved everything else from JTV but this one is just bad...Definitely going back :( Thanks though that it can be sent back."

| Capture the vibrant blues of the sea in a stone and you have Aquamarine. From light blue to bluish green to deep blue, Aquamarine offers irresistible ranges of sea blue colors. |
| A member of the beryl family (also known for emeralds), Aquamarine was referred to as sea-green beryl in ancient texts. |

Lore
Ancient sailors traveled with aquamarine crystals, believing that it would insure a safe passage, and often slept with the stones under their pillow to insure sound sleep. They believed the siren’s (mermaid) fish-like lower body was made of aquamarine.
