"When I first received the heart pendant I was quite pleased with the color, design, and quality of the piece and loved the sparkle of the different colored diamonds. I decided to write this review after having the piece for a few months and was quite disappointed to see that one of the red diamonds has popped out of the prong setting and that the pendant is unwearable now. Will require that a local jewelry repair center to replace the diamond with a closely matched garnet or other red stone unless JTV can get it fixed for me for a very nominal charge. Then I will have two of them one with the .5 ctw and then the new one ordered with 1.0 ctw. The purchase was only between 2 to 3 months ago and already this kind of problem. Sometimes I guess you can expect too much for the money but it's too bad that the prongs could not have been reinforced more securely by the manufacturer to ensure that it would not be the mounting but a cracked stone that broke off. I was very sad today, March 20, 2008, when I discovered the missing diamond. Today, I used the coupon sent to me by mail to get the same heart pendant but instead in the 1 Ctw version. Hope I have better luck with this new one. Heartbroken in South Florida and hope the new one lasts a little longer than the last one"

"I bought two of these pendants to make earrings out of them. I have the multi-colored circle pendant and multi-colored ring which are just gorgeous. I was very disappointed in these pendents. The red diamonds didn't look very red at all especially when compared to my pendant and ring. And under a loupe, they were not red at all, but cognac and gold colored. There also was no difference between the blue and green diamonds. Not at all up to JTV standards that I'm used to. Maybe, I just got two poorer quality pendants. But they went right back."

Fast Facts
| Diamond is the hardest known gemstone on earth. |
| In 1477, Archduke Maximillian gave his betrothed a ring set with a diamond as a love token, making it the first recorded diamond engagement ring. |
| Diamond comes from the Greek word “adamas” meaning invincible. |
| Some beautiful purple color garnets will often be found in kimberlite (blue ground) soil samples in diamond rich areas and called diamond indicators. |
As diamonds are formed by nature, most naturally develop minute imperfections known as inclusions. A diamond is considered “clean” if a trained eye cannot see inclusions when viewing the diamond through a color corrected lens at 10 times magnification. |
|
Diamond is crystallized carbon, the only gem composed of a single element. The most popular diamonds are traditionally colorless, but they can also be found in yellow and brown colors. Although much rarer, diamonds known as “fancies” also come in blue, red, pink, green, orange, black, lavender and purple. On Mohs’ scale of hardness, diamond is the world’s hardest substance at 10. It has a high luster and primary sources include South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Botswana, Russia, Zaire, Brazil, Ghana, Angola, Central African Republic and Canada.
